It's not just another strap. This is the result of several hang-outs in London, a shared love for photography, for details that matter, and for creating something real in a digital world.
The Story Behind the Strap
Mike has been using Studio J|A straps for quite some time now. And when we first talked about a collaboration, it was clear: this had to be something personal. A piece of gear that reflects both his vision and our craftsmanship. The result? Two minimalist leather straps, handcrafted from start to finish in Germany.
Two Editions. One Size.
All straps are 27 inches / 70cm — the perfect short length for rangefinder-style setups or compact film/digital cameras like the Leica M, Fuji X-Series, or any camera you carry tight to your body.
1. Standard Black Edition
Understated. Classic. Finished with black waxed thread and subtle blind debossing.
2. Special Dark Green Edition
A deep forest tone with contrast stitching, brass rivets and gold foil detailing on the logo.

This is Mike’s first camera strap under his Focal Point brand. It's a limited, made-to-order drop. You can pre-order now through August 18th. 2025. After that, the window closes.
Each strap will then be handmade in our German workshop by Anton’s father, then shipped to Mike. Every strap will pass through Mike’s hands before being shipped, with a few personal touches added along the way.
